Core Vendor Expectations

Core Vendor Expectation Modules

In the event of any conflict, the Rules & Regulations govern and are controlling.

Old Town Farm & Art Market is a professional, weekly market built on consistency, quality, and mutual respect. Vendors are not just participants—they are representatives of the market and play a direct role in the experience customers have each week.

These core expectations apply to all vendors, new and returning.

Vendors are responsible for reviewing these materials, staying informed of updates, and ensuring that all employees, family members, and representatives working their business at the market understand and follow these expectations.

Professional Representation

Vendors are expected to:

  • Conduct themselves professionally at all times

  • Treat customers, fellow vendors, staff, and partners with respect

  • Present their business in a clean, organized, and welcoming manner

Your booth, behavior, and communication reflect both your business and the market as a whole.

Consistency & Reliability

Customers return to the market because they trust what they’ll find.

Vendors are expected to:

  • Arrive on time and be ready to sell by market opening

  • Remain set up until market close

  • Honor reserved dates or communicate changes before Wednesday at 5:00 PM, before the reserved date

Reliability supports customer confidence and overall vendor success.

Shared Market Environment

Old Town Farm & Art Market is family-friendly

Vendors must:

  • Follow all market policies and procedures

  • Avoid behavior or messaging that disrupts the market environment

  • Resolve concerns through staff or management, not publicly or on-site

We address issues directly and professionally to protect the market experience.

Products & Representation

Vendors may only sell:

  • Products approved through the application process

  • Items that meet market standards and category guidelines

Any new or modified products must be approved before being sold at the market.

Responsibility & Accountability

Vendors are responsible for:

  • Their own conduct

  • The conduct of employees, helpers, and representatives

  • Understanding and following current market expectations

As the market evolves, expectations may be refined to support growth, safety, and quality.
